(as the patient),

I had a wonderful experience with the MGP service in Margaret River. Everyone of the midwives who looked after myself and my baby were excellent at what they do. Katie, Cat, Anita and Mel made me feel at ease and comfortable to ask answer any questions I had.  I believe their encouraging words and birth preparation advice really helped me to have a natural, calm and safe delivery. The after care was also outstanding. It was so comforting to know I could contact the midwives if I was worried about anything or just needed some reassurance. It was also really helpful to have the midwives visit at home in the early days with a newborn. The only negative feedback I have is that I think there should be a public women’s health physio in Margaret River.

Dear zebracp45,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

After discussion with our allied health team, I can confirm that our MGP midwives can refer maternity patients to our public physio therapist.

I have highlighted this with them so in future this can occur.
