My child and I went to the Karratha Health Hub on their drop in clinic on a weekday, while being screened, was asked to fill up forms in which I did , after I gave it back the staff member said can you please write down your child's illness, I corrected them telling them my child is not sick, but they kept insisting in front of my child. I told the staff member its a syndrome not an illness. It has greatly offended me and made my child rethink their medical condition. I felt very upset, I would feel like healthcare professionals should have been more careful with using words, the challenges we face doesn't define my child or their syndrome.
