In July 2021 I was diagnosed with takotsubo - stress cardiomyopathy. Due to covid restrictions I was unable to attend the personal cardio-pulmonary rehab class. However, I felt the staff were amazing inarranging classes via zoom.

During the scheduled classes, I had personal issues to deal with and I was accommodated very well to continue attending. Then this year 2023 I was able to attend in person, Chantelle and Gail provided exercises, motivation and positive support in every way possible. I am now looking at continuing regular exercise at a local venue. I am very grateful for the consistent and personal care shown to me.

A new health diagnosis can provide challenges in itself but certainly in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic we all faced an extra set of trials. For Physiotherapy, it required us to consider different ways to provide our services. Telehealth was a good option and it seems it worked well for you. We are delighted to be back offering face to face rehabilitation groups with Telehealth remaining an option for some people.

Chantelle is a very knowledgeable, thoughtful and personable physiotherapist and ably assisted by Gail in presenting the Cardiopulmonary sessions. They are always positive sessions. We are fortunate to have excellent staff on our team and will ensure they hear of your kind words.

One of our therapy goals is to encourage participants to continue to exercise on completion of a hospital rehabilitation program. So its wonderful to hear you are indeed doing this.
