I am beyond proud of myself, my body, my instinct, my son, my partner and of course, my CMP team who supported me in a truly life changing journey.
I first heard of the CMP through a friend when I was around 15 weeks pregnant. At this point I was petrified of birth and had already convinced myself that I would be having epidural. As my pregnancy progressed and I learnt more about the woman’s fascinating body, I decided I wanted minimal intervention, natural, vaginal, water birth. I met with Steph monthly who was my main point of contact who supported and gave me the confidence in a birth I could only imagine.
Our son decided he wanted to make his debut on a day that Steph was working, thank gosh, as it was so incredible to share this with her. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
