"FTM natural birth"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Family Birth Centre

(as the patient),

I had my first baby at KEMH Family Birth Centre. My midwife was supportive and informative the whole way through, and made me feel well informed. I went into labour 3 days early, took it easy and laboured at home. When I met my midwife at the Birth Centre I was fully dilated and ready to push. My son was born after about an hour of pushing, it was such a beautiful, intense but peaceful experience. Everything I could have wanted.

Dear asteropece79

Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy and thank you for taking the time to let us know about your beautiful birth experience.

I am so pleased that the Family Birth Centre was able to provide all that you wanted for your birth and that you felt well informed and supported by your midwife throughout your pregnancy. It is wonderful to note that you were able to labour at home in the confidence that the Family Birth Centre team were there to support you.

Wishing you all the best.

Delaney
