"My mum's COVID diagnosis"

About: Myrtleford Hospital

(as the patient),

My mum was diagnosed with a bout of Covid She lives alone and was unable to care for herself at home and was therefore admitted to the Myrtleford hospital. She received antiviral medication and all her needs were met. She had all but recovered when she was discharged 7 days later and continued to improve in the subsequent days following discharge. She was followed up through the Covid clinic in Wodonga. Mum found the staff caring and mindful and considerate of her. She was looked after well. The physiotherapist was caring and helpful in hospital and followed up with a home visits with still a visit to go.

Dear mercurykz73,

Thank you for your kind feedback. I am glad that your mum's needs were met, the staff were caring and considerate and well looked after. Thank you for letting us know that she continued to recover well, and the ongoing physiotherapy service was beneficial.

I will pass on your feedback to the nursing and physiotherapy team.

Wishing you and your mum all the best,

Kind regards,

Lisa
