"Patient care"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Medical Ward

(as a relative),

A very big thankyou to the security staff on duty in Medical Ward B recently. Dad was suffering dellerium & dementia having moved from ED in the morning. He didn’t know anyone or where he was or why he was there. The security crew were the recipients of his aggression, for which he later apologised. I felt the security were extremely understanding and we thank you for your patience, thoughtfulness & keeping everyone safe.

Many thanks

Dedicated

Hi Dedicated

As the person responsible for non-clinical services at Bunbury Regional Hospital, including security, I’m so pleased to receive this feedback following your Dad’s recent care. It must have been such a difficult time for him and for you. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about the security team’s compassionate response. I’ve passed on your kind words to our Security Coordinator who will share them with the team.

All the best to you and your Dad.

Anita
