"Standard of behaviour"

About: Busselton Health Campus / General Ward

(as the patient),

During my recent admission at BHC I felt unheard, angry and upset about an incident involving a staff member. I felt I was falsely accused and judged for hiding my medications and self administering. A staff member accused me of this after seeing a vomit bag with home medications in it which was packed and brought in by the ambulance.

Despite me trying to explain this the staff member handed over to a new clinician and I recall said, don't worry about them, they are taking and hiding medications I will be telling the doctor and sending them home. I am not a liar. Nor do I believe that this standard of behaviour is acceptable. To add, I was never showered, my sheets were never changed and I was never offered a drink.
