"Release from custody and parole"

About: Lives Lived Well – Wollongong (Day Program)

(as a service user),

Was released from custody and was ordered to attend but was a great thing. I struggled a lot prior to going to gaol with addiction to meth and actually realising I needed help. I've previously been Court ordered to go to rehab but choose not to go. After spending 14 months In gaol and being clean the whole time. Completing the lives lived well at Wollongong has given me a new perspective at bettering myself and giving me skills to deal with my recovery and day to day life.

Dear cruxcc77,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how you found our Wollongong service (Watershed). It's great to read that the second time you were court ordered to attend rehabilitation - you chose to attend and managed to take valuable learnings with you.

It is always fantastic when our clients recognise the work they put in results in a stronger position for the future. Well done. It is a day at a time process; and it sounds like you are doing really well.

Always remember that support is only a phone call away if you need it. All the best.

Regards,

Lara
