A few weeks ago the beautiful MGP5 team delivered my baby boy into the world at KEMH. The care, attention, sensitivity and experience of every single person we encountered was above and beyond. My partner and I are so thankful we had access to this care and this service exists. Based on my experience, if you're considering midwife led birth - I highly, highly recommend!

To Maddi, Lolita and Ginny - the three superstar midwives who got me through my labour and beyond - thank you! It was a long night, an intense experience for me and a few complicating factors in the mix - but I felt safe, secure, respected and informed at every turn.

Then to have experienced and confident midwives visit my home for the first five days of my baby's life to help, educate and reassure me was the icing on the cake.

My baby is healthy, happy and we are obsessed with him and this team has a huge part to play in that.

Congratulations on the birth of your son and thank so much for your kind words of appreciation for Maddi, Lolita and Ginny. I am sure they will be delighted to hear that the midwifery-led care they provided was everything you could have hoped for. I am so pleased that despite the intense labour you describe, you felt safe, secure and respected throughout. Care and respect are two of the WNHS core values, and it is wonderful to hear that you were able to experience these first hand.
