"My elderly parent's treatment"

My parent was placed in Menarock life Shepparton, this is the worst aged care I have ever encountered. My parent was placed there after having a fall and ended up in another aged care facility after being released from hospital. Whilst my parent was there, they had ACAS done that did not go well as they said my parent would strike out at nurses, but my parent was seemingly locked in a chair all day.

My parent has dementia but still knows who we all are, I tried to get a new ACAS done but was told that this one stands. My parent’s health has deteriorated, I feel their oral health is at risk as I believe Menarock were not brushing my parent's teeth, they call my parent by their surname instead of their first name, that's just to name a few.

My parent has had many falls with nothing in place to minimise their risk, despite our complaints, my parent had a fall and I was told they were fine and hours later when visited by my other parent and sibling they realised something was wrong and demanded an ambulance. My parent was taken to hospital and it was later revealed they had 3 cracked ribs, 1 day later another fall. I feel this service has been negligent.

My parents have been married for over many decades and it breaks our heart that my other parent only gets to see my parent once a week. We so desperately want to get my parent closer to home and into, in my opinion, a safe aged care facility.
