"Staff talking"

About: Broome Health Campus

(as a relative),

Recently I was getting ready for bed, then I heard the nurse talking to my parent and when the nurse finish with my parent, the nurse went to their other colleague and started giggling to each other. Then I told them that isn't nice or otherwise I would've taken matters in my own hand, for my parent. So I went to talk to the head nurse.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. It is really important that we do receive feedback so that we can make changes to constantly improve our service to patients and their families. I’m really sorry that you felt your parent was disrespected. I would like to follow up your concern but need some more details. Could you contact me directly please via Broome.DirectorofNursing@health.wa.gov.au or 0408913638 so we can discuss further.

Thank you
