(as a parent/guardian),

Upon walking into ED with our 3 month old having her first allergic reaction we were taken straight through to the resus bay without even taking a seat. By the time we laid our Bub down there were 2 Doctors and 4 nurses around the bed ready to help. 

They asked many questions to get a thorough history and listened to my partner and I intently. 

I was very pleased with their quick service and kind nature ensuring the best care and looking out for any acute deterioration. This continued once we were admitted to the Paediatric ward and spoke with staff up there. 

Overall very happy with our experience at HHC both ED staff, ward nurses and the Paediatric team.

I can understand how this must have been a very frightening and stressful period of time for you and your family, and I am glad that you have had a positive outcome.

I know that our medical, nursing and support staff take great pride in the quality and timeliness of their services right across the campus from the Emergency Department through to our ward environments and beyond, and your lovely feedback reinforces this. I was especially heartened to hear you found that the staff listened intently, were thorough in their care and were overall kind in nature. I will make sure that your feedback is communicated to our wonderful team on the ground.
