About: Armadale Hospital / General Surgery Outpatient Clinic

(as the patient),

Recently I had a day procedure at our local hospital. Every interaction from start to finish, every staff member was caring, polite, helpful. From reception, nurses, Drs Anaesthetist to surgeon. Afterwards I was talking to one of the nurses about grumpy people and she said daily she is spoken rudely to, sworn at ect. I was mortified! I know there are some people without manners but this is appalling! These people are here to help us. They have to follow rules, regulations, guidelines, timeliness etc. Some things are out of their control. Yes you may be in pain or discomfort but do not take it out on others! 

I purchased a large punnet of strawberries and a card and dropped it off to say thank you and tell them they are all appreciated. I hope they all had a smile for a minute, they deserve it
