I am disappointed and very scared to even have another baby… I was at midland hospital giving birth to my first born baby, I felt the midwifevs didn’t support at all, my partner wasn’t allowed to stay the whole time I was at the hospital when we live remotely out of Perth over 300km round trip, he had to drive back and forward for 6 days due to having a c section & NICU baby under 37 weeks.
I felt like I had no support as they were seemingly understaffed & I couldn’t move. I think we need to allow partners to stay to support, especially first time mums & c section mummas. They also cleaned my room which smelt like bleach. They said it was safe but the chemical was that strong I had to leave my room with my newborn
