"Compassionate surgical services at the hospital"

About: Osborne Park Hospital / General surgery

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

My mum recently had a lap chole under Prof Richard. The pre-op, operation and post-op follow up went smoothly. His team and nurses cared for my mum with compassion and kindness. I feel I know Prof is so experienced that he could do a lap chole with his eyes closed but I felt he still treated my mum with lovely bedside manners and even shown cheeky attempts at my mum's mother tongue (Mandarin). Thank you to those in the K Block and the Ward 6 surgical team.

Dear millimeterjp89

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story about your mother’s recent care and treatment following her lap chole surgery at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH). I am pleased to read that it all went smoothly and the staff caring for your mother were kind and compassionate.

It is always lovely to read such positive feedback and it gives me great pleasure to be able to share it with Prof Naunton Morgan and our surgical services team. We are fortunate to have such extraordinary, caring, and professional staff who are committed to providing our patients with the best possible care and treatment.

I do hope that your mother is feeling better and is on the road to recovery.

Once again, thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Warm regards

Jodi Graham

Executive Director, SCGOPHCG
