"Excellent Care"

About: Myrtleford Hospital / Urgent Care

(as the patient),

I went to Myrtleford Hospital one night as I was severely dehydrated.

Immediately I was seen by two lovely Filipino nurses namely Margaret and Jay. They were very professional and assessed me right away. I was very satisfied with the care that I received as everything was given in a very timely manner.

Margaret was very competent when she inserted the cannula for my fluid infusion, while Jay was quietly but accurately preparing my medications. My infusion lasted for an hour and I had to be monitored after it. Hence, I was also cared for and being checked by other nurses (probably night shift) named Edgar and Jacqueline. Eventually, I was discharged when the doctor was convinced I am ok to go home.

My stay in the hospital was very good, and I really appreciated the effort of the staff members who took time to look after me. Please keep up the good work.

Dear Koala Bear,

I am very pleased to hear you had such a positive experience when you visited the Myrtleford Hospital Urgent Care Centre and Acute Ward. It is wonderful for the staff to receive such positive feedback; it has a great impact on morale. I will pass on your kind words to all the staff, especially Margarette, Jay, Edgar and Jacqueline.

Kind regards,

Mandy Barter

Director of Clinical Services
