After hernia surgery in Melb released in the late afternoon I travelled back to Kerang (with great difficulty and pain) from my brother in laws place I was admitted to the Kerang Hospital at midnight with excruciating lower stomach pain.
The nurses were already busy with another patient but still managed to tend to me. One nurse - Tessy- seemed to be going from one- to another calmly keeping control. All the girls I saw were doing their job but Tessy stood out. The other patient was sent off in the ambulance but after that a suspected stroke patient came in.
Tessy was going all night watching the two of us. She organised my treatment for what we think may have been some sort of reaction to surgury. A great effort *by all the nurses. I am 65 yrs old and in my experience nurses are worth a lot more than our politicians and seem to put up with more c**p. I believe that without them there's no hospitals. Thankyou Tessy.
