My wife has stage 4 cancer and has been in recently. Staff are always friendly and polite even though extremely busy. We do hope staffing and bed numbers can be increased soon but thank you for your hard and kind work

I wanted to express my gratitude for recognising the efforts of the Emergency Department (ED) staff at what must be an extremely difficult time for you and your wife.

I was pleased to hear that you found our nursing staff friendly, polite, and caring. We are so fortunate to have dedicated staff who embody the Core Values of our organisation in their daily interaction with our patients and their families. St George Hospital is always looking for opportunities to optimise our service delivery and staffing and bed numbers are always part of that consideration.

I have forwarded your kind words to the Head of Department & Nurse Manager ED to share with the entire ED team.
