"Camping injury"

About: Augusta Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was down camping and got a fish hook stuck in my thumb. The staff in ED were professional and provided exceptional care. They updated my tetanus vaccine too. A special thanks to Colin who removed the hook with ease. He also has a great sense of humour!

Dear catchoftheday,

I am sorry the big one got away! Thank you for your kind words and you were happy with the exceptional care you received. Your thanks has been passed onto the team at Augusta.

I hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday and found that elusive fishing spot!
