I am in my 70’s and fell down stairs at our two story house at Augusta wa, injuring my spine at my neck, airlifted to a metropolitan hospital for operation then to the spinal ward at another hospital for recovery including ot and physio a total of 4 months, was able to walk about a hundred metres when leaving. We sold our beautiful two story at Augusta to lessen the maintenance workload and move to a one level home, we chose a home in Margaret River.
While in Augusta I was able to have one hour session physio per week, now I get the same at Margaret Hospital which is very beneficial and I am very grateful but I think if we had a community setup people like myself could perhaps secure a few more hours per week of physio.
