"My granddaughter's broken wrist"

About: Perth Children's Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My toddler granddaughter broke her wrist and I brought her to PCH. All up we were at the hospital for over 2 1/2 hours in fast track.

Lovely young male nurse Mason, who I felt was very respectful to my granddaughter who was in pain. The senior Dr we saw and another younger Dr, Nicola, were very caring and we appreciated the check in.

Thank you for the care.

Dear arieswj73,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience on Care Opinion.

I was delighted to read your lovely comments about the care that Mason and Nicola provided to your granddaughter. They are both very caring and valuable members of the emergency department team and I’m pleased that they were able to make your granddaughter’s visit to Perth Children’s Hospital as comfortable as possible. I will ensure that your kind words are shared with the management team so they can acknowledge their efforts.

Thank you again and I hope that your granddaughter is recovering well from her injury.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Donald Payne
