"My experience with Lives Lived Well"

About: Lives Lived Well – Nowra (Nana Muru)

(as a service user),

After a period of being heavily involved in ice use, marijuana and crime, I spent two and half years in jail. After getting out of jail I started drinking, thinking it wasn't as dangerous as drugs but quickly realised I had a problem. My parole officer suggested I engage with Lives Lived Well for ongoing support.

I did the day program and learnt so many skills and also developed good relationships with the facilitator, Nelly, who didn't just help me with the issues with drugs but helped me to understand more about myself and why I was using. The day program helped me meet better people and create positive goals for my life. I can't wait for the Aftercare program to start so I can continue learning and engaging with Nelly and Lives Lived Well.
