About: Korumburra Hospital

(as a service user),

The chairs in the waiting area at the Physio department.

Unbelievable in my opinion.

Once again, I cannot find a seat that is A) comfortable; and B) that I can fit my ample rear end into. 

In my opinion, you urgently need to upgrade the  chairs, and get some that do not have arms on them.

By not providing this, I believe you are absolutely discriminating against larger people, and it is not right.

Thank you for providing feedback regarding our chairs.

I would agree that the chairs need updating and given your post we will prioritise replacement over the coming weeks and ensure that the replacements suit a wide range of people.

I am sorry that you were not made to feel comfortable in our waiting room.

You will be pleased to know that we have undertaken a review of chairs in all our waiting areas and have made some changes based on your feedback.

We have ordered some new ones that we are waiting on that should be in place very soon.
