"Cleaner availability"

About: Alpine@Home

(as the patient),

Older person, Single Pensioner. Am able to "shower" myself. Currently got 1 hour per fortnight - cleaning my home. I feel there is a certain amount of confusion by Alpine Health - in regards regular persons to clean my house. i.e. time/dates. Sometimes not always on the same fortnightly date. Sometimes the cleaner arrives at 9-10am on the agreed date, when they are expected at 12 noon. No prior notice from Alpine Health.

One complaint is, I believe the cleaner is sent to one town (e.g. Myrtleford) & then is sent to another town (e.g.Yackandandah). The cleaner may go to 4 or more different towns in one day. It seems Alpine Health can't keep good staff & I have also applied for a "Gardener" - No success in that area. I have advised that I would prefer to live "at home". There appears to be a "total chaos" with Alpine Health in my opinion.

Dear pheonixmx97,

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you have had this experience with our service. Generally we try to ensure your service is on the same day each fortnight either in the morning or afternoon. Additionally, we do try to ensure only a couple of different staff visit you but sometimes this can change due to leave. Where possible we do try and keep staff within a town or locality, unfortunately sometimes staff are required to travel between towns so that people can receive their service.

Please feel free to notify the homecare office if there are any particular times or days that do not suit for your service.

Kind regards,

Emma Ghys
