"Mid West Regional Hospital"

About: Geraldton Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I have had several good experiences at this hospital but I should to particularly commend a Nurse Practitioner called Anthony. He has treated me twice for somewhat embarrassing problems. The first was for a blocked bowel and the second for failure to obtain sufficient medication to last over the holiday period. On both occasions he was both competent and kind. I believe the role of Nurse Practitioner is a wonderful extension to the hospital hierarchy. I have also received excellent service from a nurse called David ( I do not know his surname) who has also been most kind.

Dear jazzwf75

Thank you for sharing your kind words on Care Opinion.

The care and compassion you described of Anthony and David are exactly what we’re aiming to achieve at Geraldton Hospital. In a challenging and busy ED environment they have excelled in providing care that we can be rightly proud of. We shall suitably acknowledge them and thank them for their efforts.

I do hope you are feeling better now.

Regards

Didi Bower
