"Repayment communication"

About: Patient Assisted Travel Scheme - WACHS Kimberley

(as a service user),

I am a nurse and was working in an aged care facility, one of our residents had to be taken to Broome for urgent eye surgery, I filled out all the PATS forms and submitted them before I left with the resident. Upon my return, I submitted all the paperwork and receipts, but have never been repayed one cent.

I also had to take another resident to Kununnara, again I filled out all the appropriate paperwork and submitted receipts, and yet again, I received nothing.

I have written to PATS on numerous occasions, and again, I never received a response. So bottom line is that I am personally out of pocket for around $700, and cannot get answers from anyone. The aged care facility has just ignored my requests, as has PATS, so my personal experience is not good to say the least.
