My adult child rolled their ankle recently and it was immediately painful with pain also going up the outside of their leg. After icing and treatment at home the pain was increasing so they went to the emergency department to be told you are walking on it so it’s not broken. Then my child was told to sit and wait for a doctor to see them – it seemed there was no one in the emergency department yet an hour and a half later still no doctor and my child saw no staff on that time at all. I believe they wouldn’t even know if my child was ok. My child tried to find someone but there was no one around so they left.
Unbelievably terrible service from a hospital that I feel very rarely provides a good service. My child is now left in a lot of pain with children to care for one a baby. Should there be a fracture regardless if they are walking on it then, in my opinion, Moora Hospital have a lot to answer for.
