About: Hospital in the Home (Bass Coast Health)

(as the patient),

I have recently spent 5 weeks in the care of Wonthaggi hospital in the home program. From the moment I walked in the door as a very apprehensive patient. I had already spent a month in hospital with wound infection. The staff I saw made me feel safe, welcomed and cared about. Everything was so well explained, when I left on that first day I knew I was in good hands. The nurses that came to my home everyday, including Christmas were all so wonderful. Very professional, always listened to any concerns I had. Reassured me when I needed it. 

Overall I can not thank this department and all their staff I saw enough. I felt the level of care was amazing.
