Recently I contacted the hospital about my partner who was quite sick and needed to be seen in hospital. I informed the nurse on the phone of my partner's history of Crohn’s disease and that my partner was currently having a flare along with other symptoms. They kindly suggested that we stay home and I monitor my partner myself for 24hrs.
My partner became very unwell within those 24hours. The following day we contacted the hospital again and had another lovely nurse who suggested we come to the hospital ASAP because of their condition. We were seen straight away and all my partner's needs were meet. Unfortunately my partner had to stay overnight, I feel if we were seen initially and had earlier intervention my partner would’ve been on the mend now
