"Birthing my first baby with MGP5 at KEMH"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

From my first midwife appointment at 18 weeks and up to my birth, Eden (my primary midwife) was very supporting and informative. I felt strong and confident in a natural birth supported by the midwife program.

Eden was unable to attend my birth, but Maddie and Viv were on hand and helped me with a calm and low intervention birth.

Every team member we encountered was very professional and supportive.

I look forward to my future births with MGP5.

Dear conditionertw79,

Congratulations on the birth of your first baby and thank you for kind words of appreciation for the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

Your description of feeling strong and confident with the support of the midwifery team is so affirming, and even though your primary midwife Eden was unable to attend your birth, I’m so pleased to hear that with the help of Maddie and Viv, you were supported for a calm and low intervention birth. I am sure the MGP 5 team will be touched to know how grateful you are for the continuity of care you received, and that you look forward to future births with MPG 5.

Warm regards,

Delaney
