I unfortunately had to be taken to Bunbury AE on doctors direction. There were so many ambulances waiting…. Then inside AE I was seen to immediately by the nurse. There were lots of people waiting and lots more that came in after myself. More ambulances arrived some with flashing lights .. im sure this is a daily occurrence
I felt that the Nurses and doctors were so amazing with how they dealt with all that was happening . A patient was absolutely yelling and abusing and sounded like throwing things in the AE ward. I was there a total of 7 hrs and in that time I was shown such a caring and dedicated care. There were no beds available for me, but I was being monitored in the AE waiting room… a Doctor actually came into waiting room, and actually sat with myself and son, and checked me out. His name is Michael. Such a caring and dedicated person. He ordered more blood tests and chest X-ray, which were done immediately. I did eventually get a bed, there were people on ambulance trolleys in the AE wards, waiting to actually get a bed. You all are heroes in my opinion…. Thank You so very much.
