"Emergency department and overnight stay."

Recently I was at my desk when I had a sudden sensation of falling left. A few years ago, I had a small stroke in the cerebellum that caused severe vertigo so, because of that, I called the ambulance who found my blood pressure was very high and took me to the South Coast District Hospital.

I spent 17 hours there and cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful staff. Particular thanks to Danielle and Hannah who spent a lot of time helping me. Thanks to those who managed to find a vein after a while and to Megs who looked after me through the night. Georgie was a great help. Sorry, I cannot remember all the names. You have a wonderful team.. Thankyou.
