"Birth story at the birthing centre at king Eddie’s"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Family Birth Centre

(as the patient),

This was my third baby, and I chose the birthing centre at king Edward’s memorial hospital as I didn’t want a medicated birth, or different midwives throughout my pregnancy. Whilst baby had a few different plans the birth went absolutely amazing. I loved the midwives I saw, I loved the centre, I loved everything about it! I would do it all over again.! My children were able to witness the birth of their sibling too in which it was very much patient lead.

Dear Darlingtonagape,

Congratulations on the birth of your third baby. I’m so pleased to hear that the care provided by the midwifery team at the King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) Family Birth Centre met the needs of you and your family. What an incredibly special experience for your children to witness the birth of their sibling!

We will be sure to pass on your thanks to the FBC team for the wonderful care you received.

All the best,
Delaney
