"Lack of doctors"

About: Collie Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

Recently I took my partner who had been having trouble breathing and swallowing for three days to Collie Hospital. They were dehydrated and in pain. After 5hrs with no drip to assist with the fact they had barely eaten or been able to drink.

My partner did speak with a Senior nurse, via Skype, who I recall stated that they had more serious patients to deal with. My partner left the hospital and returned home after that 5hrs of receiving no assistance.

Collie ED then called my partner and recommended they return to the hospital. They did so and then spoke with a doctor, again via Skype, who stated that my partner had the flu. Not a cold but the flu, which we are all aware can be fatal. My partner is not someone who goes to the hospital for nothing, and their second trip took two hours. All up they spent 7hrs in the hospital. The response from the Senior Nurse, via Skype, is nothing but disgusting in my opinion, very, very disappointing. I feel it's time lift your game Doctors. The nursing staff we saw in ED were wonderful but without a Doctor I believe they are very limited in what they can do.

Where are the doctors?
