"A trip to ED at Bunbury Regional Hospital"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

We recently had a trip to ED at Bunbury Regional Hospital.  Arriving at roughly 5am, we were triaged  by Jordan, and sent straight through to ED.

It was almost change of shift, but Dr Sarah and ED nurse got scans and bloods happening immediately. Both very professional with a beautiful, caring manner.

Then  Dr Fay arrived on the scene,  with ED nurse Deb, again both quality, beautiful people.  Dr Fay  was incredibly professional and  knowledgeable, constantly explaining what she was thinking and planning.  We were fully aware of what was happening at all times.

Then round the corner to the short stay ED.  Again, fantastic nurses, Natasha and Adelaide we recall, and again, Dr Fay, constantly coming round to check and see what was happening, and planning next steps. Dr Fay was absolutely tireless in her efforts to reach a diagnosis.  We had complete trust in her.

Following diagnosis after numerous scans and blood tests, we were transferred to another hospital, around midnight, due to a bed shortage at Bunbury Regional.  We asked if we could take Dr Fay and her team with us!  For us, this ED department is obviously a well oiled machine.  Superb Doctors, nurses and support staff.  Every person we dealt with was wonderful.  Our sincere thanks for care that was second to none!  We greatly appreciate you all and are incredible grateful for the care and expertise we received.
