"Pregnancy & birth with MGP4 at KEMH"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as a service user),

This was my second birth at KEMH, my first had been in the normal hospital system.

I loved about MGP that I did not have to wait so long for the appointments and that they were mostly with the same midwife,  Lauren, who listened to all my wishes for the birth (and made them happen). I also was able to bring my toddler to the appointments.
I am really thankful for Lauren and my student midwife Abbey's care and how they did my birth. I don't think I will have another baby but if I do I will definitely go back to MGP/Lauren!

Dear betanq77,

Congratulations on the birth of your baby and thank you for sharing your story with us. I’m so pleased to hear the excellent care you received with the MGP4 team and about the benefits you experienced with the continuity of care model during your second pregnancy.

We’ll be sure to let Lauren know the positive impact that her support, dedication, and commitment had on you during the pregnancy and birth of your second child. It’s a true testament to Lauren’s care and expertise to know you’d seek her care again.

Warm regards,

Delaney
