"Sydney Eye Hospital clearly a front runner"

I was telling the nurses here I’ve been going to the hospital for the last 3 and a half years. I’ve had 4 strokes, 2 open heart surgeries. I’ve been to 4 hospitals in Brisbane and countless hospitals here in NSW and I can tell you that I believe this is clearly the front runner.

In my experience, from the minute you walk into the door you can’t compare them. The staff I've seen are very caring, attentive, they go out of their way for you. I’ve never seen anything like it but this is the first hospital I’ve seen on this level. It’s unbelievable but all the staff I've seen are incredible, usually its up and down, but I’ve never had one person here who has been rude.

I’ve been here all week, and it doesn’t matter who they are; clerical, nurses, doctors every one of them communicates. In my experience, most of the other hospitals I’ve been to don’t care, they shove a band aid on and off you go, that’s what’s been happening to me. But this is the first time in years that I’ve seen care like this and they should be congratulated. From their level of the care and the way they speak to you, they leave any hospital in their tracks as far as im concerned. They’re very professional and they should be highly commended, it’s such a great a thing to see after having the other spectrum of people not caring and then when you get this and think wow, just when you think there’s no hope left. I have to say I’ve never experienced anything like this. I was really giving up hope, I didn’t want to come to hospital.

I believe all of them are amazing there’s not one who isn’t. From memory, there is Ginny/Jenny (I can't remember exactly), Doctor Eric, Aldridge, Tiarne just to name a few, they are all amazing but these are the ones who have been caring for me directly. But there has not been one person who hasn’t been amazing.
