(as the patient),

I had just arrived in Cervantes for an extended family Christmas holiday. Unfortunately I lost my footing on a step and fell and broke my leg and dislocated my ankle. The closest 24hr health centre was in Jurien Bay so my husband took me there in the evening. This centre had 2 nurses on duty and no doctor (ED doctor was available by livestream). The nurses worked tirelessly through the night to ensure I was comfortable and after crating my foot the ED doctor wanted my ankle manipulated back into place before the journey to Perth. These nurses did a fantastic job whilst using light sedation to ensure I felt minimal pain. I felt no pain and came out of the procedure stabilised for the trip to Perth. All this work done on Christmas Eve. I cannot thank them enough for their help.
