Care Opinion Australia partners with Central Gippsland Health on a new 12-month project
Care Opinion is a sophisticated platform, inclusive of individualised moderation and comprehensive reporting functionality, that has been custom designed to facilitate two-way communication between consumers and service providers.
Service providers across the country use this online, transparent feedback mechanism to gather meaningful narrative data to support the improvement of care and celebrate what is being done well.
Central Gippsland Health (CGH) has reaped the rewards of engaging in online, transparent feedback with its consumers this way since 2016. Former CEO, Frank Evans, who has worked in health management for three decades, describes Care Opinion (formerly Patient Opinion) as
“being the most powerful heart of the equation in terms of moving from wanting to defend ourselves around what people are telling us to genuinely starting to listen, and acknowledge and do something about it, in terms of what it means for individuals and what their experience is”.
With this knowledge and experience, Care Opinion is pleased to be partnering with CGH to provide up to 40 small, rural health services in Victoria with access to this unique platform.
