"Care recently in Ward 2 South after trauma"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / Emergency Department Prince of Wales Hospital / Pain Management Department Prince of Wales Hospital / POWH Inpatient Palliative Care (Prince of Wales Hospital)

(as the patient),

Admitted under Dr Robert in 2 South and a bit like Humpty Dumpty with plenty of fractures and a whole heap of pain.

My thanks are extended to the nurses in particular as I was affected by a head injury and the effects of strong pain relief and was far from respectful one night, plus in excruciating pain throughout my stay.

Doctors who attended to me were thorough and ensured all necessary tests were performed day and night.

On the road to recovery, but I found it incredible how hard those nurses worked and certainly could do with more support or improved staff/patient ratio in my opinion.

Dr Robert sent me off to Wolper afterwards which was very beneficial. Thank you to all in 2 South and enjoy the fruit basket I’ll be dropping off soon.

Dear Stretch,

Thank you so much for taking the time to give our team on 2 South such positive feedback. Like all the teams at Prince of Wales Hospital, they are extremely hard working and provide care for our patients when they are vulnerable and need it most. We are glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery and thank you very much for your gracious gift.

Kind Regards,

Andrew Maxwell

Co-Director Nursing and Operations, SPM
