"Poor hospital treatment and complaint process"

About: Royal Melbourne Hospital

(as the patient),

About 2 years ago, i had stayed in the epilepsy clinic for diagnosis of my seizures, while there was no issues with my seizure condition, i got diagnosed with what I believe is an inappropriate diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder which seems to have been misdiagnosed due to staff not being trained in family violence. The BPD diagnosis plus the very poor care plan I believe has helped in making family violence worse and making sure that all the services now says it's all BPD and I feel is gas lighting me over family violence issues.

I believe the poor care plan also has resulted in a lot more seizures, the opposite of what was meant to happen.

Trying to get this diagnosis etc reviewed seems to be getting no where, I sent complaint to Royal Melbourne recently and a request sent RMH documents a month later, but despite that still no update. Almost 70 days and there has been no update or hint of an update it seems to me Royal Melbourne complaint process is not the best, this added to stress of inappropriate diagnosis and planned, thought-out, care plan that had a long lasting affect.
