"Informative, professional and somewhat fun"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Family Birth Centre

(as the patient),

Recently I delivered our beautiful baby through the FBC midwifery group practice model. I was originally not accepted however reapplied and accepted into the stream around 33weeks. As soon as I met Olivia our beautiful midwife, I just knew she was the person to support us through this journey. Our antenatal visits were always warm, informative, professional and somewhat fun.

On the big day the FBC was full and we birthed at KEMH, this change while I would have imagined to be less then ideal was made so smooth, supported and such a amazing birth because of the care and relationship of our amazing midwife. Forever grateful for her support, care and through pregnancy, birth and post partum. I wish everyone the care like we had through FBC.

Dear octansbp49,

Congratulations on the birth of your baby, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.

I am so pleased to hear that, despite not being able to birth at the Family Birth Centre as planned, Olivia was able to facilitate a smooth and supported birth for you at the main hospital. I am sure Olivia will be delighted to hear how the care she provided to you through pregnancy, birth and in the following days, was so meaningful to you and your family.

Best wishes

Delaney
