My husband & I asked for our Uncle to be taken to this hospital to be assessed for his leg ulcers plus we were appalled with his living conditions. Our uncle's disabled daughters carer, who had the same opinion as us, took him in for the checkup.
On arriving at the hospital Lisa and staff couldn't do enough for our Uncle and they to were upset by his appearance. Unbeknown to us as we live outside of Northampton, our uncle and his disabled daughter were living in squaller. The only way we found out this was happening was when we went to see my husband's fathers Sister, our Aunty in Dongara. We then decided to visit our Uncle at the family farm. This is when we stepped in.
I felt Di has gone out of her way to provide a wonderfully clean & caring place for our uncle until a placement at BrookView becomes available. We need to keep him there as his disabled daughter is brought into see him 2/3 times a week by her carer. This benefits them both greatly. Our uncle looks one hundred percent happier and is full of praise about the staff and raves about the food and attention he is getting.
