Care Opinion Australia offers a 'read only' subscriptions for public interest bodies (often consumer organisations or statutory organisations). This 'read only' subscription allows such organisations to receive free email alerts (up to 2 staff) when a story has been posted about a service that you have an interest in. This is what we call 'watcher' status. It does not allow you to comment on a story but does allow you to be emailed in real-time so that you don't have to look for stories relevant to you. This service concurs with our values of transparency, and is in the interests of information that helps improve the quality of services.
For example, some of our 'watchers' include the Australian Commission for Safety and Quality in Health Care, Departments of Health, State Consumer organisations, Mental Health Commissioners, and State and Federal MPs.
We also offer a number of free services available to everyone, such as widgets, that you can embed on your website to keep track of the latest stories that are important to your organisation
