The diverse features and functionalities of the Care Opinion platform offer a number of benefits to aged, community and health care providers. As an online platform, Care Opinion is backed by a user-friendly software system with a tailored login areas for storytellers (patients, older Australians, service users, carers, families and friends) and subscribing service providers.

When service providers become a subscribing service, unique logins are are created created for specified users, allowing for access to the platform from wherever they are physically located via an Internet connection. Supporting a virtual team environment, service providers have the ability to classify their users under three different access levels to grant or limit particular permissions as per the subscription scope and vision:

  • member
  • responder
  • administrator

The Care Opinion team is committed to working in partnership with service providers to support optimised use of the platform, including the development of co-branded story generation campaigns designed with local messaging. 

To support implementation, management and utilisation of the Care Opinion platform, a number of tools and resources are provided as part of the service subscription.

The full subscription package offers you:

Unlimited staff logins to the Care Opinion website, allowing staff member you authorise to be alerted by email and respond to feedback.

Customisable email alerts: stories about particular departments directed to the people they are most relevant to and the chance to show how specific patient story has altered a specific service.

The ability to filter patient stories by the corresponding service, date, criticality, tag or phrase.

Access to respond to author stories.

System functionality to allows staff to flag the story when they are planning to make, or have made a change within the service in response to a story.

Real-time reporting:

  • create your own reports giving at-a-glance analysis of consumer feedback
  • understand the key themes and issues and results of your feedback.

The backing of an expert Care Opinion team to provide you with:

  • training session(s) via online conferencing software to introduce to Care Opinion and equip you to administer the system
  • advice on how to effectively manage and respond to consumer feedback
  • insight into what strategies may help to get Care Opinion working for your organisation
