Care Opinion Australia warmly invites you to join a senior leaders’ forum on Tuesday 21 April 2026, proudly supported by the Department of Health WA and Health Consumers’ Council WA.

Western Australia remains the only state to have implemented Care Opinion across all public hospitals as a consistent, system-wide approach to transparent feedback, and to invest in independent individual advocacy as part of a broader commitment to systemic improvement. This forum offers a moment to reflect not only on progress, but on how narrative feedback and consumer input are shaping governance, culture, continuous quality improvement and system performance.
Opened by the Honourable Meredith Hammat MLA, Minister for Health and Mental Health, with an address from Dr Lesley Bennett, Deputy Director General, Clinical Excellence, and reflections from Fraser Gilmore, CEO of Care Opinion UK, the morning will connect system leadership with lived experience and practical direction.
Together, we will:
- Learn about Care Opinion within the broader health system context.
- Explore governance and practice in responding to stories and supporting workforce wellbeing.
- Plan the next bold step in embedding consumer voice across Western Australia.
- Recognise leadership, frontline excellence and outstanding practice.
